Proplo runs an MCP server, the open standard AI assistants use to work with other software. Your agent works with your real account data, and only when you ask it to in a chat.
Onboard a property in one conversation
Create the property, add bill senders and account references, cost splits, meters, tenants and your company details. A guided “onboard a property” prompt walks the agent through it in the same order as the app.
Handle rent invoices
Raise, update, send and cancel rent invoices. New invoices start as drafts, and nothing is emailed to a tenant until the agent is asked to send it.

Your agent can't touch the money
These limits are enforced by Proplo's servers, not left to the AI's good behaviour. No prompt, however clever, gets around them.

Read-only unless you say otherwise
Permissions are set per area, such as properties, tenants or invoices, as read or write. Read-only is the default.
Only admins can connect agents
Only your organisation's admins can create API tokens or approve an app's connection.
Every action is logged
See each request an agent made, including any that were blocked, in Settings → Developer.
Switch it off any time
Revoke a token or disconnect an app whenever you like. Access stops within a minute.
Bill text is marked untrusted
Text from emailed bills is marked as untrusted when it reaches your agent, guarding against a dodgy invoice trying to give it instructions (known as prompt injection).
Safe retries
An invoice that has already gone out isn't sent again unless a resend is asked for, and a retried request can return the first result instead of creating a duplicate.

Add Proplo as a custom connector using the server address below. You'll be sent to Proplo to log in and choose what the connection may do, then approve it. No token to copy. The claude.ai connector is new, so if anything doesn't connect, contact us and we'll help.

Claude Code and Claude Desktop
Create a personal API token in Settings → Developer in the Proplo app, choose its permissions, and copy the ready-made setup snippet shown next to it. Other MCP-compatible clients that support remote servers can connect the same way.

Questions about AI agents
Can the agent pay my bills?
No — by design. Agents can never pay or approve bills, move or withdraw money, change who gets paid, or see or change bank and payment credentials. Proplo's servers refuse these actions for every agent, whatever permissions you choose.
Who can connect an agent?
Organisation admins. Only an admin can create a personal API token or approve a connection from claude.ai.
Does the agent do things on its own?
No. The agent acts when you ask it something in a chat. Everything it does is logged in Settings → Developer, so you can see exactly what it looked at and changed.
Which AI assistants work with Proplo?
Claude: on claude.ai as a custom connector, and in Claude Code and Claude Desktop with a personal API token. Other MCP-compatible clients that support remote servers can connect with a personal API token.
